Dr. Ashley E. Wheatley

Dr. Ashley Wheatley grew up in Evans, Georgia, and is a proud resident of Columbia County. In 2001, she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Augusta State University before graduating from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. After graduation, Dr. Wheatley practiced both small and large animal medicine at a mixed veterinary practice in Ocala, FL, for several years before returning to practice in neighboring Richmond County for five years.

Following a dream of owning her own practice in her native community and living near her large family, Dr. Wheatley began by offering in-home veterinary services to both canine and feline households located in Columbia and Richmond counties. In 2018, she built the current Greenbrier Veterinary Services building to meet Dr. Wheatley’s goals of offering comfortable, professional care for pets in the CSRA.

When not caring for other people’s pets, Dr. Wheatley shares her home with her two felines, Dove and Flint. She also enjoys attending local community events with friends and family, gardening, and cooking new recipes to share with her employees.

Dr. Tiffany Grant

Dr. Tiffany Grant has been a resident of the CSRA since her family came to Fort Eisenhower in 1997. She grew up in Grovetown and attended Harlem High School. She spent eight years in Athens at the University of Georgia for her undergraduate and veterinary degrees. After graduation in 2011, she began practicing in the Augusta area and is happy to have found her place at Greenbrier.

Dr. Grant is interested in small animal medicine and surgery, particularly infectious diseases, parasitology, and behavior cases. She is also interested in pets that need a “little extra” to have a comfortable visit at the vet. She is growing her expertise in fear-free experiences for pets and hopes to offer a more pleasant experience in the clinic while Dr. Wheatley offers in-home care. With almost ten years of experience, she is always trying to learn and grow in practice.

Dr. Grant currently lives in Harlem with her husband, five children, and growing mini farm. She is interested in a wide variety of things, including running, homesteading fiber arts, and reading, and in spending time caring for her family when she is not caring for pets.

Dr. Ericka Wade

Dr. Ericka Wade grew up on a cranberry and blueberry farm in the rural Pinelands of Southern New Jersey. As a child, she always knew she wanted to be a veterinarian and would religiously watch the Emergency Vets show on Animal Planet. She fondly remembers her black and white composition book where she took notes on the cases presented in that show. For high school, she attended the Burlington County Institute of Technology with a vocational trade in Veterinary Assistant studies. It was there that she met her husband in Spanish class. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology at The Richard Stockton College of NJ. From there, she went on to St.George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine on the island of Grenada. Her final year of veterinary school was completed at the University of Georgia while her husband was stationed at Fort Eisenhower. They fell in love with the Augusta area and decided to make this their forever home.

Dr. Wade worked in Waynesboro, GA, for six years before joining the team at Greenbrier Veterinary Services. She is passionate about spaying and neutering your pets, preventative care, and client education. She has an interest in exotic small mammal medicine. She loves to have personal connections with clients and their beloved pets. Ella es puertorriqueña y habla español.

Dr. Wade lives in Hephzibah with her husband, John, her daughter Athena, her sister, Jessica, her three cats, Ariela, Zuffa, and Mr. Cat, her two dogs, Tora and Kuma, and her freshwater fish tank. In her free time, Dr. Wade loves reading novels, hosting board game nights with friends, exploring Augusta and the surrounding areas, hiking and walking, geocaching, traveling to new places, testing out new vegetarian/vegan foods, doing yard work, spending time with family and chasing her toddler around.
